MySQL 5.6 crashing after forklift from 5.5.50

Title says it.

Here's the output to mysqld.log: https://gist.github.com/gwinans/067e27c2fff00cccec4e4c5927bb9df0

Things I know:
  • Data is a mess. Lots of fields that have data longer than the field should allow, 800+ tables across 4 databases
  • It doesn't appear to be related to the missing temporary table
  • I can downgrade back to 5.5.50 and it runs fine
  • Adding recovery flags does nothing
I need advice on what to do next. I'm at the end of my rope and knowledge set.
