Documentation for new TokuDB variables?

atopileratopiler EntrantInactive User Role Beginner
Is there any documentation at all available for the newly added TokuDB variables? `tokudb_client_pool_threads`, `tokudb_cachetable_pool_threads`, etc. Can't find anything about it.

These variables now allow some control over internal PerconaFT worker/background thread pools.

They are listed here https://www.percona.com/doc/percona-server/5.6/tokudb/tokudb_variables.html and have no real description as understanding their functions would require a fairly deep understanding of the PerconaFT library.

In most cases, there is no need to touch them. They were previously hard coded and only recently exposed specifically for the purposes of allowing adjustment during benchmarks to determine if the default values need better explanation or tuning or if there is any benefit to increasing or decreasing their values based on hardware and workload. So far there has only been one adjustment that might be useful and will be blogged/documented at a later point in time.
