Connecting to Linux DB Server from MS Access Using ODBC. User Security Question

JacksonJackson EntrantInactive User Role Beginner
I am helping out a charity. They want to connect there MS Access 2003 and Access 2010 to MySQL. Because the Microsoft Licence combination are to expensive. I have Setup a Linux MySQL Community Edition and converted all the Tables, Views and Stored Procedures to from MSSQL to MySQL. Access connects nicely to MySQL using the ODBC Connecter we can connect to the server.

However the problem lies the Windows AD User Credentials is not recognised and not passed to the MySQL Server.

Is there an add-on for Percona MySQL Server that will allow it to recognised Windows AD User Credentials. There is one for Oracle MySQL Enterprise but have not been able to find any information on how to set it up. Also it is not available for the Community Edition

So was thinking of suggesting to the Charity to change to Percona MySQL if the following:
1 - Percona Linux MySQL Server had a add-on that would a allow it to use the Windows AD User Credentials of the connecting user.
2 - Is there were instructions on how to setup the add-on.

Now I will admit I'm a developer and not an Engineer. So please excuse if some of my terms and jargon is not correct. If any one can help or provide links to articales that would be much help.

Thank You
